Dawn's Favorite Books

I read books over and over.  That doesn't make them my favorites, though.  Some books are flash-in-the-pan; I devour them four or five times and then never crack open the cover again.  Others I read because they happen to grace my bookshelves and it's three o'clock in the morning.  They're decent, and I might even recommend them on occasion, but they don't float effortlessly to the top.

But these books? Well, I am in awe...

The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason - This book was once donated to my church library.  "Babylon?" I wondered.  "Why would someone donate a book about Babylon to a church library?"  I looked at the spine.  "And why would a publisher say that it's Inspirational?"  So of course I read it . . . and discovered the best book on wealth building I have ever read.  Oh, and if you want to know why it's about Babylon?  Then read the book.  You won't regret it.
